On June 15, 2022, a video of “Mandykiss” shocking her fans by claiming that she is not an Olosho but a good girl. “Mandykiss” can be seen weeping and explaining to her fans in this video that she only created the persona and contents to help her family survive. She also stated that she intends to alter her content and that she ought to be content.

She has received a lot of feedback on this new move, including from celebrities like Bukunmi Oluwasina, who has publicly acknowledged that she enjoys her content. The majority of her followers appeared to disagree with her explanation in the comments on her page, while others wished her well.
