Jose Peseiro has affirmed his exit as administrator of the Super Birds in front of AFCON 2025.
Peseiro who drove the Hawks to a runner up finish at the 2023 African Cup of Countries, affirmed his exit in an explanation on Friday, Walk 1, after his agreement formally terminated on Thursday, February 29.
“Recently, we closed our agreement with the NFF. It was a pride and distinction to mentor the Super Hawks. It has been 22 months of huge commitment, penance, feeling, and tremendous excitement. We feel a feeling of satisfaction.
“We might want to offer our thanks to Sir Amaju Pinnick (the president who marked us), President Ibrahim Gusau, General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi, Secretary Dayo Enebi, the NFF, all the Staff, and particularly every one of the PLAYERS, with whom driving has been an incredible joy.
“Folks, we are grateful; it has been an honor to be essential for this family. We will miss you, yet we will continuously show up for you, regardless of where you are. A major embrace to every one of you,” the previous Porto director composed on X
As per OwngoalNigeria, Jose Peseiro has previously consented to mentor Algeria at AFCON 2025 and for the World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
The declaration of his arrangement is supposed to be spread the word for the overall population soon.
