Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers state, has promised to look into everything that has occurred within the state administration over the past eight years.
This was revealed by Fubara at the oath taken by Senior Advocate of Nigeria Dagogo Iboroma to serve as the next Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice for the state of Rivers.
Iboroma has been given a task by Fubara to promptly form a panel of inquiry to examine the state government’s operations over the last eight years.
This comes after Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara’s chief of staff, Edison Ehie, said that he received an offer of money to remove the governor from office.
But Ehie revealed that he turned down the money given to remove Fubara from office.
Over the weekend, the Chief of Staff gave a speech in Rivers State’s Ahoada East neighborhood without disclosing the names of individuals who made financial offers to him.
They invited me, your son, to impeach the governor, and I made it plain to them that I was not interested, according to Ehie.
“All the money that was previously hidden was given to me; nevertheless, I declined it. They plotted and labeled me wanted because I refused.
