The Nigerian singer Portable has started dragging his wife Bewaji again, indicating that he isn’t done screaming about her and the mother of his two children.
Bewaji had written a mysterious post in which she referred to herself as a queen and discussed how ungrateful people can be. She emphasized to her followers to follow their own instincts, pointing out that people tend to forget the generosity extended to them.
Portable attacked her in the comments area, saying that she is nothing without his name. He asserted that the reason he is no longer respected is because of his wife. Observing that she was never pleased, he wondered what more he could do for her.
The controversial musician claimed that after his wife told him she was done having children, she is envious because he is getting other women pregnant. He asserted that she aims to set him up, letting her know he is not her slave.
Although he pays his wife’s bills, Portable noticed that she always looks down on him. He told her that ladies are lining up to be in her shoes and he advised her to go if she is tired.
“You are nothing if they take my name off of your name. You h*te me for having a child with someone else. Did you not say that you were done having children? You never show gratitude for anything I do for you. You adore, that money is mine. You assure me over and again that you would like to go, but pleasure prevented you from doing so. You’re an unappreciative woman. If your father treated your mother the same way I do, ask her. Women are pleading with me to return. You are not coming back to my house after you leave. I’m not your slave, so leave if you so want.
The musician had teased her over her birthday post, in which she referred to herself as the “Queen of Herself,” a week prior.
Portable threw a fit and demanded that she treat her with respect. He threatened to kick her out of their married house in an Instagram live session if she didn’t delete the caption, and he also implied that his wife’s friends were responsible for her behavior.
Later, when the artist praised her and she removed the birthday post, Bewaji gave in to criticism and changed her Instagram bio to include her husband’s birthday.
Daniel Regha responded by criticizing Portable for his constant need to be the center of attention and letting the singer know that respect is something that must be earned, not given. He said that his actions online were a clear sign of low self-esteem and a need for approval from his partners.
A few months ago, rumors circulated that Portable had beaten his wife, and pictures to support those charges could be found on the internet.
Bewaji responded to the allegations, refuting the gossip and accusing others of attempting to destroy her husband’s reputation. In addition, Portable blocked the report and charged his babymama, Ashabi, with fabricating information regarding his union.
After that, Bewaji was targeted by a troll for honoring Portable’s birthday in March. In response, Bewaji challenged the troll and gave an explanation of why she remained with the singer.
