Nigerian Afrobeats star, Simi Kosoko, has revealed that she wrote her 2017 hit song ‘Joromi’ with irritation.
In an interview with CNN, Simi shared that she wasn’t a fan of the song when she wrote it and even sang it with irritation. ‘Joromi’ was a deadline song, and she had already finished writing songs for the album when her team sent her the beat for ‘Joromi.’ Despite her initial reluctance, the song has been a massive hit, with over 19 million views on YouTube.
