Afrobeat icon Wizkid tells the story of his early days living with D’Banj, his senior colleague, and the whole Mo’ Hits crew.
Wizkid said in an internet throwback video that he spent a majority of his childhood years with Mo’ Hits—now Mavin Records—and D’Banj.
He claimed that none of them knew he was living with them, even though he was in the house with them.
The singer called them all family and extended a heartfelt thank you to D’Banj, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, and D’Prince from the Mo’ Hits album.
The “Manya” crooner prayed for God to bless them and called them a powerful team that made significant contributions to African music.
