Wikki Tourists Football Club hires a new technical adviser The Wikki Tourists Football Club in Bauchi has named Abdullahi Adamu its new technical adviser.
On January 31, Kabiru Dogo, the club’s former Technical Adviser, resigned, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
This was stated by the Club’s Media Officer, Abdullahi Kobi, on Tuesday in Bauchi.
Kobi said that Balarabe Douglas, the Chairman of the Club, gave Adamu a letter of appointment during a brief ceremony at the club’s secretariat.
“During the 2019/20 Nigeria Professional Football League season, when Kabiru Dogo was appointed Technical Adviser, the Wikki Tourists’ new gaffer joined the Club as acting Technical Adviser and later Chief Coach.
He stated, “Adamu promised to do his best for the club to justify the confidence reposed in him while accepting the offer.”
He pleaded for more patience, understanding, and prayers, claiming that the task at hand was collective.
Both Green Beret FC of Zaria and Katsina United FC of Katsina had Adamu as their coach at various times. NAN)
