Wikki Tourists head coach, Jubrin Wada insists his team can still avoid relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
The Bauchi Elephants gave their top flight survival a boost after thrashing Abia Warriors 4-0 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium on Sunday.
Wikki Tourists scored thrice in the first half through Abubakar Aliyu, Ahmed Abubakar and Samuel Stone.
The guests scored an own goal in the second half.
Wada said his team will approach their remaining games with the same way.
“The boys played well and that’s how we are going to continue in the remaining NPFL matches,” he stated.
“I’m very happy for the boys for the victory. We have a bad position on the log but we very hopeful of coming out of our current predicament.
“We know the task ahead is huge but we very much hopeful of doing a yoaman job.”
Wikki Tourists occupy ninth position on the Group B table with 15 points and have two games remaining before the end of the campaign.
Wada’s side will face champions Rivers United in a rescheduled game on Wednesday.
