Controversial Nigerian journalist and social critic, Kemi Olunloyo, has taken to her social media to express her opinion regarding the participation of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo in reality TV show, “The Real Housewives of Lagos.”
Olunloyo raised questions about Iyabo Ojo’s eligibility for the show, highlighting her single status.
Kemi Olunloyo, posted her views on Facebook, questioning Iyabo Ojo’s involvement in the reality series. She pointed out that since Iyabo Ojo is neither a housewife nor married, her participation in a show specifically named “The Real Housewives of Lagos” may not align with the conventional understanding of the term “housewife.”
She wrote, “Miscast🇺🇸Why is Iyabo Ojo in The Real Housewives of Lagos when she’s not a housewife or married. I said this 2022 nobody answered, #Kemitalks”

The second season was premiered on 29 September 2023, with new episodes on Fridays.
