Why if Boehly does not fire Potter earlier, the Chelsea squad might be doomed.
Chelsea’s disastrous season has been a wake up call to owner Roman Abramovich and the club’s board of directors. The team has been in a downward spiral since the appointment of Frank Lampard,
and it looks like it might get worse if they don’t make a change soon.
Owner Roman Abramovich and his board of directors have yet to make the decision to fire head coach Frank Lampard, but chairman Bruce Boehly may have already missed his chance to salvage the team’s season.
While Lampard had some impressive victories during his first year managing Chelsea, he failed to deliver consistent results this season – something that cost him his job.
It is now up to Boehly to find the right replacement for Lampard before it is too late, or else Chelsea might be doomed for another disappointing campaign.
