Comic actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has opened up recently on why he no longer eats food prepared by his wife, Stella Okafor.
Recall that the comic actor recently faced a minor crisis in his family which made the rounds after it found its way to the internet and drew a lot of attention. After a short while, he and Stella, who happens to be his 5th wife, confirmed there is now peace in the family and they have settled their differences.
However, in a recent interview with Faith Ajayi, Mr Ibu opened up again about a lot of things with regards to the crisis in his family, his marriage to his wife, Stella, his career and his adopted daughter, Jasmine Chioma. He described his marriage to Stella as the worst and stated that he will not get married again if they fall apart.
He also spoke on how he was poisoned on different occasions and his wife’s misconducts in his home among other things.
However, when asked about how his relationship with his wife is at the moment, this was when the comic actor revealed that he can’t eat her food anymore as he is still skeptical, despite her changed behaviour since the recent incident that made the rounds took place. He explained that it is all a pretence on Stella’s part just to get his attention and also stated that he eats from his daughter, Jasmine’s kitchen. Mr Ibu said:
“Since the recent incident, she has been so loving. But I know it is all a pretence just to get my attention. I still show her love, providing money for domestic needs and making sure the family is fine, but I am very skeptical. I cannot eat her food anymore. For now, I only eat from Jasmine’s kitchen. She cooks a lot and I like eating…”
