Controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Oze, better known as VeryDarkman, has reportedly been released from police custody after being arrested and detained last weekend.
The media commentator, who regained his freedom on Sunday night, shared a video on his Instagram page detailing the events that led to his arrest.
VeryDarkman revealed that police officers entered his home on Sunday to arrest him following a complaint he filed for defaming a man who had scammed others out of their entire life savings.
According to him, on arrival at the station, the anonymous man wrote a statement regarding his claims of being involved in a fraud and provided evidence to support the claim.
He said he was released thanks to the help of a reputable lawyer and also his contacts with prominent men in society who secured his release on bail and overnight detention.
VeryDarkMan added that he can’t stop demanding justice for people because he’s already in so deep and it’s such a shame he keeps getting arrested.
