Popular singer and reality sensation Whitemoney discusses why he is more interested in winning the Headies Award than a Grammy Award.
It would be remembered that Whitemoney had previously stated that his goal as an artist was to win a Grammy award.
He had pursued his aim by putting out hit after hit in the hopes of becoming a chart-topping artist.
Whitemoney stated in a recent update that he is no longer interested in taking home the Grammy because it has become less sought and compromised.
During an interview with content creator Egungun, he disclosed this.
Whitemoney has disclosed that his current goal is to take home a Headies Award.
Says the reality star
“The current state of affairs, Grammy don’t cast.” Make sure we oversee Headies. I’m not sure whether I’m still trying to win a Grammy. I’m currently going after any honor that keeps me relevant. Because it appears that the Grammy organizers are exploiting Nigeria as a publicity ploy in light of what they did to our superstars, Burna Boy and Davido, during the most recent award event.
However, never say never. My musical taste is distinct. No wahala if it gets me to the Grammys.
