Popular Nollywood actress, Queen Nwokoye, has used her new video to reveal her experience with a POS operator who charged a huge amount of money on a POS transaction. She disclosed that she was charged 20,000 naira on a transaction of 57,000 naira, saying that we are our own problem in Nigeria.
She made it known that she went into a shop to buy something, and her total purchase money amounts to 57k and the Pos operator gave her the Pos to insert her pin after inserting her card. She said she discovered that the operator had added charges of 20k to her bill, which prompted her to decline the transaction. She stated that the woman gave her an excuse that they were also using 4K to withdraw 10K, an excuse that she did not find genuine.
In the statement she made in the video, she said, “We are our own problem in Nigeria. A POS operator charged me 20k on 57k transaction. I gave her my card, and she gave me the Pos to insert my pin, and while trying to do that, I checked the amount, and I discovered that she had added 20k to the charges. I asked her the reason for doing that, and she told me that she also used 4K to withdraw 10K. “I declined the transaction and walked away, but she pleaded with me to come back, but I went to another place and I was charged the normal amount there.”
