Prominent Nollywood actor Kola Oyewo has shared his story of battling prostate cancer treatment, saying that the procedure left him unable to have sexual relations.
The 77-year-old actor revealed this when talking about how he dealt with his illness. Actor Kunle Afod and veteran actor Peter Fatomilola visited Oyewo at home in a widely shared video on the internet to inquire about his well-being.
Speaking to his guests in Yoruba, Oyewo recapped his medical odyssey, noting that in July 2019, he first had trouble urinating, which led to a diagnosis of prostate enlargement.
Oyewo revealed that he had to give up his sexual function during one of the medical procedures intended to save his life.
He stated, “I had an enlarged prostate, but I’m feeling better,” when speaking with his guests.
