Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has named Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne as the “smartest” player he’s seen in the game of football.
De Bruyne scored in Man City’s Champions League semi-final first leg 1-1 against Real Madrid this week at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“I don’t think he made a great game overall, but he scored an important goal. That is why I say he’s the best and most important player in this team,” Henry said on CBS Sports about De Bruyne.
“I think Kevin’s brain is the best I have ever seen. You never know what he is thinking. Sometimes it looks like he is elsewhere.
“I think he is the smartest player I have ever seen in my life. He is from another planet.”
