Nigerian singer, Candy Bleakz, has taken to her social media page to call out the Lagos State police and her estate management after two people were reportedly butchered over night in her neighborhood.
Narrating the incident, the singer said that she was on her way to church in the morning of Sunday, the 12th of March, 2023, when she saw a lot of people outside.
Only for her to realize that two people living in the apartment beside hers were butchered over night. She said that their body was butchered and dumped right at the front of their house.
She added that the house where the crime happened was under the same management as her house, the same estate but different security. She
further stated that the incident happened around 2am, yet they have not seen the police or anyone from the management since the incident, and the corpses have been left outside for too long.
“Two men were butchered, they still threw their bodies in front of the house, and those boys packed out. Since 2am till now, we’ve not seen the Nigerian police. They’ve called the management, and they have not been available. In an estate in which we pay over 5 million. We are not safe,” she said.
The singer said that the Nigerian police were called, and instead of showing up, they were asking for fuel. She stated that the killers already ran away, and the corpses left outside were already bringing out an offensive odour.
