The popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has made known her experience in her recent movie. The singer explained how she felt and how she was forced to express herself in the first movie she ever performed.
She disclosed this when she was talking about what her fans should expect from her debut movie as a singer. In the movie, the Nigerian singer played a major role as a prosperous US-based fashion designer who relocated to her native land after 10 years due to family problems. Tiwa’s name in the movie was Aisha.
When she returned to her homeland, she discovered that a lot of things had gone wrong. There was so much violence and agitation. As Aisha reunites with her relatives, old friends, and former lover, she tries to cope with her painful past experiences.
Tiwa Savage spoke to reporters concerning what she experienced while acting in the movie. She said that the movie was an absolute labor of love and made her longtime dream come true.
She said that her role as Aisha in the movie has made her vulnerable and forced her to express herself in a manner that she has never done in her life. She also said that it was a privilege for her to share her first acting role with Meji Alanis with all the cast and crew from Africa.
According to Tiwa, she has great respect and appreciation for this wonderful experience. She said that she was excited that the whole world will see her perform in a movie for the first time.
Tiwa Savage not only featured in the movie, but she worked as an executive producer, and she also composed and produced the movie’s original soundtrack. Luckily for her, the movie has the same title as the EP that she released two years ago.
