Popular Nigerian Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has taken his social media handle by the horn as he made his first tweet months after the demise of his three-year-old son Ifeanyi Adeleke in 2022.
The DMW boss tweeted, “There is a time for everything. A time to grieve and a time to heal There is a time to laugh and a time to dance. A time to Speak and A time for Silence.”
“Thank you to everyone out there for their love, which has held me down. All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all. Today, I want to remind you all that what is now timeless was once new. It’s time for new.”
This post generated a lot of reactions from his fan base, like @Bahd_Bishop1, who wrote: “Thank you for coming back to us. I was curious to the point where I didn’t know my left from my right any longer. Social media was boring, and everything was boring because everything that has life in it misses. Welcome Back!”
@Uncleadewale wrote: “Now everyone will forget about what happens during the election. Welcome back once again.”
@Honuorez1 also wrote: “Woah, welcome back King David.” OBO. We love and miss you!”
@Annigreat11 said, “Welcome back, boss. I thank God for the strength he has bestowed on me over all these years. Thank you for having us in your heart and still cooking something for us regardless. I can’t wait for the new album.”
