The English Premier League returns this week with teams still yet to play their outstanding games finally getting the chance to do so. It promises to be an exciting week of action due to the level of fixtures involved.
The title race could be decided alongside the top 4 race. With that said, we will take a look at the top 3 toughest fixtures to watch out for;
1. Chelsea vs Brentford
This game is tough due to the simple fact that Chelsea have been on a 4 game losing run, will it end or continue against Brentford. This game will decide it. A loss for Frank Lampard’s team and the Blues woes increases. Brentford led under Thomas Frank are no pushovers and they can definitely cause an upset.
2. Manchester city vs Arsenal
This is unarguably the biggest game of the week and possibly the season as the two challengers for the EPL title face-off against each other. It is Pep Guardiola against Mikel Arteta, Haaland vs Gabriel Jesus, De Bruyne vs Bukayo Saka as Man City host Arsenal at the Etihad on Wednesday night. Any team that wins gets a considerable advantage in the title race.
3. Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United
It is the top 4 race battle as Tottenham host Man United. Tottenham are currently not in a good place in terms of form while United recently qualified for the FA cup final and look set to beat Spurs to finally clinch third place and their top 4 ticket.
