The late musician Mohbad’s wife Wunmi is the subject of a pending DNA application. A magistrate court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has ordered that notice of this case be given by alternate methods.
This information was revealed in a statement signed by Monisola Odumosu, a member of the legal team defending the Aloba family, and made public on Wednesday.
Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, submitted a request for authorization to serve Wunmi by posting all pertinent court records at her last-known address.
According to the statement, the defense team said that the sheriff had tried twice to deliver the court papers to Wunmi, but both times had failed.
“The court-ordered service of the process on the respondent’s last known address would ensure proper notification of the pending lawsuit,” the defense team claimed.
As a result, the Chief Magistrate gave the order to serve the respondent by sending a court document to her last known address.
