April 8, 2024, Nashville, TN: Morgan Wallen, the rising star in country music, is facing legal issues following an odd incident that occurred in downtown Nashville on Sunday night.
Wallen was detained, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department, for reportedly throwing a chair from the sixth-floor rooftop of a pub.
Police reports claim that Wallen was present at Chief’s, the well-known eatery and bar that country music artist Eric Church owns, at the time of the incident. Luckily, no one was hurt when the chair fell perilously close to two officers who were standing on the street below.
Wallen has already garnered media attention for his off-stage conduct. After a video with him using a racial slur surfaced in 2021, his record label suspended him. Following that, Wallen apologized.
Early on Monday morning, Wallen was taken into Metro Jail and later released with a $15,250 bond. It is planned that he will appear in court on May 3. These transpire while Wallen carries out his “One Night At A Time Tour.
