Nigeria and three other countries are about to engage in a heated race to hire Herve Renard.
Renard, who is now in charge of the France Women’s team, is about to leave. According to sources, he will leave Les Bleues following the Olympics.
In expressing his goals, Renard makes reference to his interest in coaching in the Men’s World Cup in 2026, hoping to serve as head coach for the third time. His goal to soon lead another men’s national team is highlighted by this vision.
Renard is reportedly in great demand, per L’Équipe reports. Nigeria, Cameroon, South Korea, Poland, and other countries are competing for his skills. Furthermore, Morocco could join the fight in the event that Walid Regragui steps down.
