Despite being “far from greatness” as a child, popular singer Spyro emphasizes the value of a praying mother as he shares how his mother’s prayer changed him.
He thanked his mother on his Instagram page, sharing how she saw his grandeur and goodness while others did not.
Spyro remembered how she used to cry when she visited him at his boarding school because she felt that he had something special that others didn’t.
He mentioned that until 2023, when his big break arrived, his mother continued to pray for him.
The musician pleaded for fans to never undervalue the influence of a mother who prays.
His quote:
“As a child, I was far from exceptional… I was the outcast; I was the stone that was turned down. My mother would often contact me and say, “I know you are great; God told me and many prophets have confirmed it and if God has said it, IT WILL HAPPEN.” I recall her crying when she visited me one day when I was at boarding school.
Even if things became very difficult for me as I grew older, she never once stopped saying to me, “SANMI, OGO E MA TAN KARI AYE,” and she would look at me and say, “But it’s not God who said it.” She persisted.
I worry whether men and women in my generation can pray like our parents did because, in the words of one expert, “Never underestimate the power of a praying mother.” After all, who will fill the void for these new children? * Problems in life only react to power; they do not recognize “BAD BITCH,” “GENZ BADDIES,” “ZADDY,” or “BIG BOY.”
Oh my generation, get out of your sleep. Many of us are supported in prayer by our parents; what will support our own children?
“And violence and the violent have plagued the kingdom of heaven since the time of John the Baptist.”
