Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, better known by his stage name Joeboy, is a Nigerian singer who has stated that he would be willing to marry his fiancée.
Joeboy expressed his feelings on Madame Joyce’s “Cocktails & Takeaways” podcast, characterizing their union as “pure, intense, and overwhelming love.”
Affirming his faith in the institution of marriage and love, he said, “My current relationship is characterized by pure, intense, and unconditional love.”
Joeboy went on, “To a certain extent, I believe in the purity of love and marriage [laughs]. I see myself spending the rest of my life with the person I am currently with. I won’t commit to a relationship if I don’t think there is a future together. Keeping it informal is preferable to making untrue promises.”
According to the RAWLOADED, Joeboy revealed in an interview from the previous year that he had spent almost N50 million on his current girlfriend in just two years.
He stated that he was unsure of the amount and that it might be much higher.
In order to shield his private life from social media criticism, he also stated that he would rather not reveal his girlfriend’s identify.
