Few moments ago, Popular Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Chukwuka Ekweani known professionally as Ckay took to social media to share a photo of his old crib after acquiring a new mansion.
The “Love Nwantiti Crooner” shared the photos on his Official Instagram Page today being Wednesday the 3rd day of April, 2023 and he accompanied it with a caption which read: “Came a really long way, I’m grateful”, he wrote and it stirred massive reactions from his colleagues, fans, viewers and followers with many taking to the comment section to react.
In one of the above photos, Ckay could be clearly spotted standing in front of his newly acquired mansion. While the other photo is that of the house where he used to live before making it big.
Ckay is currently one of the hottest prospect in the Nigerian Music Industry, he came into prominence some couple of years back after the release of his hit single “Love Nwantiti” and ever since then, he has managed to carve a nitch for himself and also cement his place as one of the most sought after Afrobeat singer in the World.
Love Nwantiti was released in 2019 by Chocolate City and on the 29th day of March, 2022 the song debuted at number one following the launch of the billboard. On 9 May 2022, it became the first African song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify and has been deemed “The biggest song in African history”.
