Nigerian music producer Samklef intervened to provide clarification on the subject following a widely shared tweet by Davido that alluded to the acquisition of a new private plane.
Davido began the new month on a positive note, according to Rawloaded’s report, by purchasing a private Bombardier 7500 rip rubber jet, which was estimated to be worth between $68 million and $78 million. Some praised his newest acquisition, while others wrote it off as a simple marketing ploy.
Samklef corrected the record by revealing that Adedeji Adeleke, Davido’s millionaire father, made the purchase rather than the singer. Samklef, in an open analysis, asked where the dads of critics had been during Davido’s father’s amassing of fortune, contrasting it with his own childhood, in which his father died in 1996 when he was just eleven years old.
“Congrats to Davido for his father’s recent purchase of another private plane! When Davido Papa Dey gets rich, where is Mama Dey? Samklef argued, “My own papa don die since 1996 when I was 11 just in case una wan ask me back the question.”
The explanation comes amid a tumultuous past between Samklef and Davido, which was sparked by claims that pictures of Davido’s wife, Chioma, and their twins had been leaked. Samklef angrily disputed the allegations. When Samklef started making fun of Davido last year, calling him “owe owe 1” and advising him to follow in the footsteps of his adversary Wizkid, their dispute heated up.
Surprisingly, though, Samklef is now a champion for peacemaking and is pleading with Davido to apologize to everyone he may have offended. He brought up previous occurrences, like as Davido’s public spat with his uncle Dele Momodu over money and claims that he disrespected elders by accepting money from the NFF chairman.
It is unclear whether this reconciliation represents a new chapter in their relationship or just a brief pause in their continuous drama, even as Samklef holds out an olive branch.
