Former Liverpool player, Don Hutchison has predicted Manchester City to beat Real Madrid over the two legs when both teams clash in the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday (May 9) and Wednesday (May 17).
Hutchison also picked Manchester City’s Erling Haaland as a better player than Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Hutchison said: “Erling Haaland is scoring one or two goals every game, he is scoring five at times. It doesn’t mean that he is a better player than Benzema, but I think with the team he’s got around him, Manchester City will come out on top over the two legs.
“If they do get to the final, I think he is potentially the one to get the winner.”
He added, “I have never seen anyone hit the numbers – apart from Messi and Ronaldo – that Haaland’s getting this season.”
