Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has revealed that winger Vinicius Junior is the best player in the world.
Ancelotti spoke during his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s La Liga clash with Getafe on Saturday.
Vinicius has scored 23 goals and registered 21 assists in 51 games across competitions for Real Madrid so far this season.
The Brazilian scored a wonder strike in Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final first leg 1-1 draw with Manchester City last Tuesday.
Asked about Vinicius during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Madrid’s clash with Getafe on Saturday, Ancelotti responded (via MadridXtra): “Vinicius? Best player in the world or very close to be.”
He added, “Vinicius will play tomorrow [against Getafe]. I talked to him, he feels very good.”
