Cole Palmer got into a brawl with teammates Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson after Chelsea was given a penalty against Everton in the second half.
Palmer had previously given the Blues a hat-trick early in the first half.
Before scoring his fourth goal of the game, the 21-year-old had to compete with Madueke and Jackson for possession of the ball.
Managerial disputes involving penalty-taking responsibilities are never ideal, and Mauricio Pochettino might later be questioned about the event.
This season, Palmer has been Chelsea’s go-to penalty taker and has scored nine goals overall.
Still, it makes sense that Jackson and Madueke would have been anxious to contribute in a game that the Blues were already winning handily.
