Cole Palmer scored a perfect hat-trick in the first half of Chelsea’s 6-0 triumph over Everton on Monday night in an incredible display.
The victory puts the Blues within three points of the European qualifying spots, which is quite close.
On home ground, the 21-year-old put on a masterful display, winning back-to-back hat-tricks. His first goal demonstrated elegance, and he then scored a second goal with predatory skill and a brilliant lob with his weaker foot thanks to a misdirected pass from Jordan Pickford.
Palmer’s goal extends his scoring run to seven games at the stadium, creating a new club record and making it the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history for a Chelsea player.
Stoppage time saw homegrown star Alfie Gilchrist seal the deal with his first goal for the team, adding to the jubilation.
