Sulaiman said the reactions of the PDP and other opponents of Ganduje to his becoming APC National Chairman, have sent intense jitters and unsettled those who did not wish the party well in the country.
Yusuf Sulaiman, a member of the Kano State House of Assembly from 2011-2023 has made a claim against the Peoples Democratic Party.
Sulaiman said the emergence of former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress has made the Peoples Democratic Party jittery about returning to power anytime soon.
Sulaiman made the remark while speaking to newsmen in Kano on Tuesday.
He said the reactions of the PDP and other opponents of Ganduje to his becoming APC National Chairman, have sent intense jitters and unsettled those who did not wish the party well in the country.
“It is interesting that our opponents want to be in a position to advise us on who is the best to lead our party. This clearly shows that the emergence of Ganduje would not have come at a better time than now”.
He continues, “As for other minions that are largely sponsored and have made it a duty to vilify Ganduje, this is only the beginning of their heartache because he is poised to lead the APC through a smooth formation of government and institutionalisation of a proper political reward system, victory in upcoming polls in Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo and a grand return of Edo back to APC”, Sulaiman said.
With regard to alleged trouncing of their party in Kano, he said the party had become a caricature compared to its former self and in no position to argue Kano with APC.
He noted that “The PDP, given its placement in both rounds of elections in 2023 in Kano, I would rather advise it to discuss the outcome of the elections with their buddies in much smaller communes like the LP, PRP, and their likes.”
