On Tuesday, X, formerly known as Twitter, went down for several hours globally, infuriating users all over the world who were unable to access it.
Around 9.45 AM, Elon Musk’s well-known social media platform experienced problems that caused severe disruptions throughout the US, UK, Europe, Asia, and several African nations, including Nigeria. Musk is a billionaire.
Some users reported that their feed was not loading properly, which prevented them from viewing the items on their “following” and “for you” tabs. Other users reported that their screen was black.
The scale of the issue was unknown at the time this report was submitted, however DownDetector, a website that tracks internet outages, asserts that it is a big issue.
Over 6000 people have reported to DownDetector that the annoying outage affected them in some way.
