Nigerian rapper Oladips has taken to his Instagram live to express his dissatisfaction with Tunde Ednut, accusing him of ignoring his request for album promotion at a cost but later featuring him for free after news of his alleged death.
Oladips claims that he initially contacted Tunde Ednut via WhatsApp before releasing his album, inquiring about the cost for promoting the project on Tunde Ednut’s Instagram.
According to Oladips, Tunde Ednut did not respond to his messages, and the communication ceased when he posed the question about the promotional cost.
However, when the news of Oladips’ supposed death circulated, Tunde Ednut allegedly posted about him on his page three times, all without any prior communication with Oladips.
While Oladips acknowledges that blogging is Tunde Ednut’s source of income, he expresses his desire not to be used merely for likes and views but also to have his album promoted.
The situation underscores the complexities and dynamics of the entertainment industry, particularly in the realm of artist-promoter relationships and the use of social media for publicity.
