Gombe United defender, Alege Toyin, has urged his teammates to keep his feet on the ground as they seek to qualify for the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoff.
The Savannah Scorpions are currently five points away from the top three after last weekend’s impressive 2-2 away draw against Nasarawa United.
Alege admitted that despite stiff competition for a top three finish, they can make it with more hardwork and dedication.
“We all need to be focused and calm to achieve our playoff target.,” he told DAILY POST.
“Though the competition is high considering our position but with concentration and hard work we can achieve it no doubt.”
Gombe United occupy the sixth position on the Group A table.
The Savannah Scorpions will be on duty in Ibadan on match day 15 against Shooting Stars.
