The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, a Nigerian businessman better known as Cubana Chief Priest, will be reaching a settlement out of court regarding claims of Naira misuse.
In Apirl, Rawloaded stated that the EFCC had charged Chief Priest with Naira mutilation among other things. Pascal entered his plea of not guilty to the accusations of naira misuse before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos. N10 million was given as bail for the well-known bartender.
Cubana boasted about being famous and said that money is water while sharing a picture of himself following his release and expressing gratitude to people who had inquired about him. He received messages from people like Davido, Mercy Eke, IK Ogbonna, Isreal DMW, and others.
Rawloaded received an update on his case, indicating that the businessman and the commission will reach an out-of-court settlement.
Online media stated that the settlement report would be heard by the court on June 5, 2024.
Remember that after being freed, Cubana took a new leave and implemented a new money-spraying method.
In viral videos, the famous bartender was shown not throwing money at the celebration while attending a wedding. Cubana had made a transfer, improvising.
Cubana Chief Priest argued in favor of the commission, telling Nigerians that they should merely show up and respond to the EFCC’s invitation rather than running.
The businessman disclosed that breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in their cell, which also has a bed, bathroom, and toilet. As he continued, asking why and for how long individuals would run, he said, “EFCC is for big men, and for me, it’s a status symbol.”
