Gospel musician Morenikeji Adeleke, popularly known as Egbin Orun, has passed away.
Her coworker Esther Igbekele verified this on Sunday in an Instagram post.
“Egbin Orun departed suddenly without bidding farewell,” Igbekele said, expressing astonishment and sadness.
Igbekele claims that they had just spoken, without realizing the horror that was about to happen.
She complimented Egbin Orun on her kindness, beauty, and resolute support of her ministry.
“I learned of this tragic loss when I arrived home from my program. Morenikeji Egbin Orun, prophetess, you departed without bidding farewell.
“We had a conversation last week, but we had no idea that you were going to take a trip to the far beyond. You are a really wonderful, compassionate woman who has shown great support for my work.
“God knows best, even though I am really heartbroken by your passing. Your kindness will always be remembered, and you will be sincerely missed.
“Ah, Egbin Orun.” Until tonight! Continue to relax in Christ’s arms. Oh, gone too soon.Yeah, yeah.
As of the time of writing, no formal statement had been released, and the cause of her death is still unknown.
