Monalisa Stephen, a body positivity activist, has commented on the accusations made against Mercy Johnson by her previous closest friend.
Mercy Johnson’s time was up, according to Angela Okorie, who accused Mercy Johnson’s mother of being a witch on Friday. Angela questioned what would happen to individuals whose futures her mother tied up, claiming that the actress’s mother enjoyed tying people’s fates. Angela passed away.
Ifeoma, the erstwhile best friend of Mercy Johnson, called her out on witchcraft during an Instagram Live session, claiming that her late mother was the mastermind. The woman asserted that Mercy had locked the fates of her colleagues and the well-known music group Style Plus since she knew about the deaths occurring in Nollywood.
In response, Monalisa Stephen said that’s one of the reasons she finds it hard to hang out with other women. She saw that if Mercy hadn’t been concentrating on Ifeoma’s negative aspects, she would have eventually shown kindness and done something positive for her. She went on to say Mercy had never been friends with Ifeoma.
“You were not my friend at all. At the very least, consider a time when she helped you. No, having female pals only makes me tired.
Mercy Johnson, for her part, chose to put her family first and disregard the controversy. On her Instagram page, she celebrated the birthday of her final child, Divine, and declared that her family was the most important thing in the world.
Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Odi Okojie, also posted a mysterious message on social media, reminding people that mental health issues do exist and to check on their loved ones. The politician claimed that insane people might be found anywhere.
Remember that Mercy Johnson was supported by filmmaker Sam Olatunji when he wondered how Angela could have concluded that Mercy Johnson’s mother was a witch if she wasn’t one herself. He warned her admirers to see her because he thought she was experiencing a mental collapse.
Yvonne concurred with him in the comments area, pointing out that Angela Okorie doesn’t think poorly of herself.
