The last moments of a small girl sparked discussion after a video of her calmly dying while sleeping went viral and was initially misinterpreted for slumber.
The video, which her mother thought to be just sleep footage, revealed the tragic reality of her daughter’s death.
In the video, the girl wearing baby clothing is tenderly placed down by her caregiver, with the phrase, “Last moments captured as she transitions to Allah, though we thought she was going to sleep,” appearing alongside it. It is thought that she is about to fall asleep when her eyes close and someone lightly taps her.
But they had no idea that the infant had already died quietly in her sleep.
