Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has said that he chose Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi in the never-ending debate over which is the greatest player of all time because he was a former teammate with the Portuguese.
Neville also admitted that many people prefer Messi as the greatest player of all time over Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, 38, and Messi, 35, have lit up world football for the past two decades.
Both forwards have won 12 Ballon d’Or awards among themselves.
“I think with Cristiano he’s (Messi) the greatest player of all time,” Neville told CBS Sports Golazo.
“A lot of people prefer Messi. I personally prefer Cristiano just because I have played with him.”
