The winner of the Footballer of the Year award for the 2023–24 season is Phil Foden, a player with Manchester City.
The women’s accolades were won by Manchester City’s Khadija “Bunny” Shaw.
After Erling Haaland in 2023 and Ruben Dias in 2021, Foden is the third Man City player in four years to win the men’s Footballer of the Year title, having received 42% of the vote from members.
The playmaker finished ahead of Rodri, his Man City teammate, and Declan Rice, an Arsenal midfielder, who came in second and third, respectively. Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins, and Martin Odegaard completed the top six.
This season, 23-year-old Foden has scored 16 goals in the Premier League and assisted on seven more.
Along with three assists, he has also scored five goals in the Champions League and two in the FA Cup.
