At the wedding after-party, Davido showered praise on Chioma saying she is “a good cook and good in bed”. Davido also explained that Kioma’s soup is different and sweet and there is nothing she cannot do.
While paying tribute to Kioma’s parents, Davido had listed his plans for his wife Kioma. He explained that this is a lifelong commitment to Kioma as he promised to protect, respect and build a bond between her. He also professed his love for her parents and said their wedding day was the happiest day of his life.
He kept his promise and gifted Kioma a brand new SUV and a bouquet of roses as appetizers at the wedding venue.
Chioma and Davido’s love story has weathered some hardships and there is no doubt that Chioma deserves all the recognition and everything she has now.
The couple lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in October 2022, days after celebrating his third birthday, which undoubtedly rocked their relationship.
After losing his son the same year, Davido secretly married Chioma in a civil wedding ceremony at his father’s house. In January 2023, Davido finally paid Chioma’s bride price (Umuna) in full in Ezeala Odu, Imo State.
