Nollywood star Laide Bakare is setting the record straight regarding the speculations surrounding her relationship with an enigmatic figure she’s been showcasing on social media.
Laide Bakare, a mother of three, recently took to her Instagram to clarify misconceptions surrounding her relationship status. She emphasized that the man she’s been seen with on social media is merely a colleague with whom she has worked on several film projects.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Bakare urged the media to stop labeling the man as her spouse, emphasizing that their on-screen portrayal of husband and wife is strictly for movie roles, notably in the film “Oko Laide.”
Captioning the video, Bakare humorously reiterated her single status, stating, “Pls hear me out 🙏 I Beg you 🙏 I’m still husbandless o 🤣 Na movie 🎥 o.”
Bakare, who has been married twice before, first to Olumide Okufulure and then to Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo, clarified that her current relationship status remains unmarried. Her marriage to Okufulure produced a daughter named Simi, while her marriage to Orilowo, which ended amid allegations of fraudulent activities, resulted in two sons.
