Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month for February, competing against Rashford, Leno, and three other players.
In the month, the Leicester City forward made four appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ team, in which he contributed three assists and scored two goals.
In the Foxes’ 4-2 victory over Aston Villa on the road, Iheanacho scored once and contributed two assists.
The 26-year-old then scored once and assisted in Leicester City’s 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at home.
In his 18 league games this season for the former Premier League champions, the Nigerian has scored three times.
Iheanacho will compete for the award with Marcus Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, Bernd Leno, a goalkeeper for Fulham, and a defender for Tottenham Hotspur.
Ollie Watkins, a forward for Aston Villa, and Manor Solomon, a winger for Fulham, are the other players nominated for the individual prize.
