A recent development involves the bold declaration by Karimot, the sister of Mohbad’s bride, that she is no longer associated with Wunmi, her sister.
She declared that she no longer had any relationship with Wumi or their mother. She disclosed that despite being at her sister’s side during the entire Mohbad episode, she was stabbing her in the back.
She went on to describe how Wunmi had misled others about specifics. She called Wunmi out on her habit of using people and then discarding them after she’s finished with them, calling her out as a user.
She didn’t end there. She continued by saying that she would soon reveal to Nigerians what she had been through. As far as she was concerned, she said,
When the catastrophe occurred, I continued to support you like a sister in the last moments of your spouse (Mohbad). You now stabbed me behind.
“You told people falsehoods.” Falana wasn’t introduced to you by me, thus things won’t be right. You are the user. When you are through using someone, you discard them.
I’ll tell Nigerians about what I’ve been through. You and your mother are no longer mine. She has moved on.
