Jasmine Okekeagwu, a content creator and the adopted daughter of the renowned comic actor, Mr Ibu, shared her story of discovering her estranged husband’s true age. Jasmine revealed that she filed for divorce from her UK-based husband in November 2022 after learning about his deceit regarding his past marriage and children.
During her recent interview with popular media personality Chude Jideonwo, Jasmine disclosed that she uncovered her ex-husband’s lie about being 38 years old on their wedding day.
“I was with my ex-husband for nine months, and during that time, I didn’t conceive. The situation became increasingly complex when I discovered his deceit. He had told me he had never been married and had never fathered a child before,” Jasmine recounted.
“However, I learned on our wedding day that he was actually 51 years old. Imagine discovering such a revelation on your wedding day,” she added.
Jasmine went on to reveal that her ex-husband had made promises of marriage to several other women. Upon inspecting his phone, she discovered numerous interactions with various women, including popular Yoruba TikTokers.
