Bayern Munich CEO, Oliver Kahn, has said it would be risky for the club to sign Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen considering his €150m price tag.
The German champions are one of the clubs rumoured to be interested in landing the Nigerian in the summer.
But in a recent interview with SportBILD, Kahn said the club would need a guarantee that the 24-year-old is worth the money before breaking the bank.
He said, “When it’s about such a fee, we have to ask the question: does the player give you a guarantee for this money?”
“That would definitely be a big risk,” Kahn added.
Osimhen is one of the hottest properties in the world at the moment, with Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG all reportedly interested in his signature this summer.
He is the leading contender for the Serie A Golden Boot with 23 goals in 27 appearances this season.
