The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has given Bola Tinubu, the candidate for president, and Kashim Shettima, his running mate, the Certificate of Return.
On Tuesday, Tinubu and Shettima received the certificate of return in Abuja from INEC National Chairman Yakubu Mahmood.
Tinubu won Saturday’s presidential election with the most votes, defeating Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
