Indirect criticism of Drake appears to have come from The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky on Future and Metro Boomin’s most recent album, “We Still Don’t Trust You.”
In the song “All To Myself,” The Weeknd boasted about turning down Drake’s invitation to join Ovo Sounds in 2011 while declaring his loyalty to Future and Metro Boomin’s side of the hip-hop scene. “When they got leaks in the operation, I thank God that I never signed my life away,” he rapped. “They could never diss my brothers, baby.” Their gunmen posting videos on TikTok.
A$AP Rocky, who was featured on “Show of Hands,” also alluded to a former dispute with Drake. A$AP Rocky, better known by his stage name Flacko, asserted, “Flacko hit it first, son / Still don’t trust you / Always,” in reference to his relationship with Rihanna.
