Some moments ago, several media houses reported that Nigeria’s popular music artist, Habeeb Okikiola (popularly called Portable), was arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in Ogun state.
After being taken to the police station, singer Portable was spotted in a viral video saying, “if I knew those who came to my bar were police officers, I would not have disrespect them.”
Speaking further, the well known music artist said, “like the police officers, I am also a liability of the federal government. I will have treated the with respect if I knew.”
Before today, officers of the Ogun state had given singer Portable a 72 hours ultimatum to show up at the station. This was after he resisted being arrested at his locality in Ogun state. Portable had told the officers that they cannot arrest him because he is a supporter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
